Present: Kerm Paulsen, Harold Ulfers, Bud Olson, Dick Lundberg, Carl Hultquist, Jim Neary and John Tissell.

The meeting opened with Bud reading Scripture. Prayer was then offered by those present.

FALL RETREAT DISCUSSION: Bud Palmberg has sent Kerm his "bio" information for use in the brochure. The preparation of the brochure is underway.

ALASKA: Kerm P. and John T. reported on a very successful trip to Bethel.  Keith Hamilton was on the same flight from Bethel to Anchorage as John, giving John an opportunity to review the inspectors report on the college building in Soldotna to be used for the Alaska Christian College. The problems listed are mostly minor. John has offered to install the phone and computer wiring in late June.

The schedule for Kathy Irvine's house shows Kerm and John doing the electrical trim in August.

The dedication of the new transmitter and towers at KICY is June 9.

CONFERENCE ANNUAL MEETING: The Men's breakfast will be at the Ye Old Pancake house. Don Meyer, of Covenant publications, in Chicago will be our speaker.

SCHOLARSHIPS: We have received thank you's from all four of the recipients.

CASCADES CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER: The log cabins were measured for shelves and clothes rods. We will submit a design to the Camp for their approval.  We will attempt to fabricate the shelves during the week before the next meeting and install them after the meeting.

OTHER ITEMS: The announcements for the board meetings and the minutes are being distributed by e-mail to those who have given us their e-mail address.  The minutes are also posted on the web page.  We need to find ways of promoting cooperation between the churches of our Conference. A meeting is scheduled next week at Harvard Covenant to discuss this problem.  Covenant Men still lack any recognition in most of the Conference Churches.  Covenant Women, the Youth and other groups have their own bulletin boards, but only in a few churches is there a bulletin board for Covenant Men.
