Present: Kerm Paulsen, John Prouty, Bud Olson and John Tissell

The meeting opened with Bud reading from Philemon, the fourth chapter. Prayer was then offered by those present.

John Prouty noted that the minutes indicated his presence at the February Board meeting, which is an error.

FALL RETREAT DISCUSSION: No word yet from Bud Palmberg on his "bio". Kerm will follow up.

ALASKA: Kerm P. and John T. will be leaving March 19 for Bethel. The offer from ECCAK (the Evangelical Church of Alaska) on a large house in Soldotna has been accepted. Kerm and John T. have been receiving e-mail regarding volunteer work groups on the building. They want groups to come for a minimum of one week and suggest coming on Friday and then leaving the next Friday or Saturday. Dave Petersen is working on the schedule for Kathy's house.  He has a large number of building contractors that have promised to help, but he still needs volunteers. Construction will start in early June with completion by September 1, the date Kathy's lease on the rental house expires. North Pacific Covenant Men will probably try to send volunteers in mid July and late August.

CONFERENCE ANNUAL MEETING: Bud Olson, our alternate delegate will be unable to attend the annual meeting. The Men's breakfast will be at Ye Olde Pancake House, which is near the church. Don Meyer, of Covenant publications, in Chicago will be our speaker.

SCHOLARSHIPS: We have received thank you's from all four of the recipients.

CASCADES CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER: The Camp has specified regular wood for the shelves in the log cabins. Kerm and John T. will check with the Camp to determine if regular vinyl surfaced shelf stock will acceptable and also obtain measurements of the amount required.

OTHER ITEMS: The announcements for the board meetings and the minutes are being distributed by e-mail to those who have given us their address.  They are also posted on the web page.  The Web Site going smoothly. Day by day, additions are being made and various sections updated. John T. was asked to forward a copy of the Covenant Men's Annual report prepared for the April 28, 2001 Annual Meeting to be posted.  Also he will include copies of the minutes for all year 2000 Board Meetings.  Tentatively it was decided that earlier minutes would not have sufficient value to be posted.
