The meeting was chaired by acting president Jeff Wolf and opened with scripture from Proverb 24. Prayer was then offered by those present with particular concern for Greg Swensen and JohnTissell traveling to and working in Alaska and for several personal problems of board members.

FALL RETREAT DISCUSSION: Cascades Camp will be contacted to determine if it is possible to move the dates for the Men's Retreat to the first week end in October or even later. Several men have commented that it is difficult to attend since the men's retreat was moved one week closer to the Women's retreat several years ago. Dick Lundberg and Jeff Wolf will develop and setup displays for the retreat. 

ALASKA: Greg Swensen and John Tissell are currently in Alaska working at several locations including MARC (Missionary Aviation Repair Center), AEC (Amundsen Educational Center) and Alaska Christian College. The number of volunteers available for volunteer work needs to be expanded. Kerm was a very active volunteer (he made over 10 trips to Alaska) and he is sorely missed.

CASCADES CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER: The need for a coordinator for scheduling volunteer work at Cascades was discussed. Steve Sweet was mentioned as a potential coordinator. Tom Moline will contact.

OTHER COORDINATORS: Having coordinators for other work was discussed. Mentioned were: Missions, Education & Resources, Outreach & Evangelism, Stewardship and Projects. It was agreed that these were worthwhile goals but until there are more men active in Covenant Men, there will be a problem in implementing these positions.

NOMINATING COMMITTEE: A tentative ballot was discussed:

• Secretary: John Tissell
• Corresponding Sec: Currently vacant and no available candidate

Nominations from the floor for all positions will be open at the business meeting.
