Fall Retreat: Cascades Camp & Conference Center was given the responsibly for the retreat early in the year. The division of responsibilities and final schedule was discussed. The Men will be free to set up displays and will receive the offering. The Camp will be responsible for the schedule. The Camp has asked Henry Greenidge to lead the music since they were not informed that the Men already had a worship team.

The Camp will be adding several things that they feel will excite the men. One thing is a tractor pull, scheduled for Saturday evening, just before the service. Another is punkin chucking. The Men's business meeting will be the last order of business before dinner Saturday evening.

Other Business: Concern was expressed over the oversight of not notifying the Camp of the worship team that had volunteered to lead the music. One idea was to offer them the opportunity next year.

All designated money has been forwarded to the designated organization, except for the current months receipts. Concern was expressed over the Alaska Christian College losing scholarship money due to the law suit by the Freedom from Religion Foundation.

The web site was discussed. It has not been kept updated. Jeff Wolf will scan the Fall Retreat brochure and forward it to the web master. Also the web site has last years information about Alaska and does not have copies of recent minutes of Board Meeting. One thing that has contributed our lack of attention to the web side is the fact that we have been substituting work parties to build bunk bed for our regular monthly board meeting.

The ballot for the fall retreat was discussed. We have to get younger men involved in
leadership roles. John Delong volunteered to run for president, Jeff Wolf for vice president and John Tissell for secretary. More candidates are needed.

It was decided to distribute scholarships to full time seminary students from North Pacific churches at North Park Seminary at the November meeting.
