Covenant Men Board Meeting
Board Meeting; Cascades Camp & Conference Center, May 12, 2007

Attending: John Prouty, John Delong, Harold Ulfers, Bud Olson, Mark Cook and John Tissell

The meeting was opened with prayer. Each person present prayed for wisdom in discussing the business at hand and for expressed prayer requests.

The quorum was established.

The agenda for the meeting was presented and approved.

The minutes from the meeting February 10, 2007 were approved.

It was moved, seconded and passed that Mark serve as treasurer in addition to his job as vice president. The checks will be signed by John Prouty and Mark Cook. Which branch of the bank the account was at was discussed. It was decided that the change in signatures could be handled at any branch.

It was moved, seconded and passed that $2,200 from the interest on the money invested in National Covenant Properties be divided between 11 scholarships for the 2006-2007 school year. The money given designated to AEC (Amundsen Education Center), KICY, MARC (Missionary Aviation Repair Center) General and MARC Pilots will be sent following paying the scholarships. It was also voted to reimburse Dick Lundberg for the registration of the Alaska "Missionary" which he paid.

The minutes of the annual meeting April 28, 2007 were approved.

The coming fall retreat will be the 50th retreat. Donn Engebretson will be the speaker. Men are needed to organize the events during the free time Saturday afternoon. Pictures from past retreats are needed for a display of the history of Covenant Men. The pictures should be sent to Dick Lundberg who will organize the display. It was agreed that we should pay the registration of four men involved in Alaska missions. Representatives from AEC, MARC, KICY and ACC will be invited. Only one will be able to speak at the Saturday evening meeting but all would be available for discussion at the displays during the free time.

Discussion was held regarding a display that could be used at the North Pacific annual meeting. Covenant Women had a display at the last annual meeting.

It was moved, seconded and passed that board members that travel in excess of 150 miles to attend board meetings be reimbursed $0.15 a mile.

Next meeting: Tentative dates are July 8, September 8 (in Portland) and November 10.
