Opening remarks were made by John Prouty.

Jeff Wolf read the 2002 retreat meeting minutes to the general membership. A motion was made, seconded and carried that the minutes be approved as submitted.

John gave an overview of the Financial/Treasurer Reports. He presented the Board Nominating Committee recommendations for the annual Board Elections as listed below.

• President- John Prouty

• Vice-President- John Tissell

• Treasurer- Keith Olsen

• Financial Secretary- Dick Lundberg

• Recording Secretary- Jeff Wolf

He requested further nominations from the floor and none were received. He suggested that a unanimous ballot be cast for the positions as presented. The motion was made, seconded and carried.

Next Year's Retreat: John noted that Michael Ryan is confirmed as the speaker for the 2004 retreat. The date for the 2004 retreat was noted as set for the first week in October to allow separation between the Women’s and Men’s retreats. The membership expressed appreciation for providing a week between the women’s and men’s retreats.

2003 Outreach Project: Harold Ulfers (Stewardship Committee Chair) presented a ceremonial check for $12,000 to finance a memorial log cabin at Cascades Camp in honor of past Covenant Men President Kerm Paulsen.

Cascades Camp Board Report: Rob (Camp Program Director) discussed that the camp has been very successful in providing faith-building experiences for youth and NPC conference/other churches while operating on revenue generated by the camp. He discussed the details for the proposed Train Camp and noted that a capital raising campaign to fund the Train Camp and other improvements will be starting in 2004. He presented a video which explained the current operations and future vision for the camp.

Vision Sharing: Newly elected President John Prouty discussed "What is a Covenant man?" He noted that it’s someone who regularly attends a Covenant Church and wants to be involved in spreading God’s kingdom by working with other men.
